Emily L. Bowman, Partner
Emily L. Bowman became a partner with Kirch Rounds & Bowman PC in January of 2018 where her practice has been focused in Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Elder Law, Tax Planning, Conservatorships, and Guardianships. In 2019, she became Co-Editor of the Trust and Estate Section of The Colorado Lawyer. She is listed in the Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star under Estate Planning and Probate since 2020. She is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch since 2021 in the field of Trusts and Estates and Elder Law and in the field of Litigation-Trusts and Estates since 2024. Ms. Bowman is a member of the Colorado Bar Association Trust and Estate Section, the Denver Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is co-author of Equitable Remedies, Orange Book Handbook: Colorado Estate Planning Handbook (2018 – Present).
Ms. Bowman authored an article on The SECURE Act and its impact on estate planning with retirement accounts in the Colorado Lawyer in 2020. Ms. Bowman graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May 2009. In 2013, she graduated in the Top 3% of her class at the University of Oregon School of Law, where she was a member of The Order of the Coif and received the Laurence Janssen School of Law Academic Scholarship. In her spare time, Emily enjoys running, organizing, exploring the great outdoors across Colorado, and spending time with her husband and fur babies.
